Corporate Virtual Challenges
How to fundraise for a corporate virtual challenge
Corporate challenges are a fantastic way to promote employee wellness, increase team cohesiveness and businesses corporate image. We have vast experience in providing corporate virtual challenges and most commonly the challenges are completed in order to raise money for a charity. Some of our past clients include Capital One, Mind in Mid Herts and Brewin Dolphin.
Step One: Choose a challenge!
The biggest step is getting in contact with your virtual challenge provider. You’ll be able to have a call or a Zoom to go over a potential route, all the services your provider can give you and any extra support you might need during your challenge.
Step Two: Choose a Charity
Many corporate challenges fundraise for one or multiple charities. These are usually closely aligned to a company’s overall mission or perhaps are based locally to the business. Make sure to create a JustGiving page for donations to include in any challenge marketing and emails.
Step Three: Connect to your Challenge
When starting a new challenge on Myles you can integrate your JustGiving page directly into the app in the set up phase. This will show your fundraising progress within the app and help you drive engagement and more donations.
Step Four: Promote your event
People follow people! You can utilise the sharing function on the Myles app to get as many people involved as possible. Continuous updates on your challenge will also:
- Increase donations
- Inspire competition
- Increase engagement with challenge
Recommended marketing for your virtual corporate challenge:
Pre-event emails to boost signups
Social media marketing – i.e. posting on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
Fundraising stands – have a stand in the office with employees encouraging other to sign up and donate to the cause.
Step Five: Hit your goal
The best part! Challenges can be anywhere between a 1 day event to a virtual 3 month group effort. This is a great opportunity to get the most out of your fundraise. You can boast about it on social media and on emails with links to your JustGiving page. When you’ve finished your challenge make sure to thank your sponsors and donors too!
